This very sweet, kind girl came from a breeding farm, where she lived in an outdoor kennel. Now in foster care, it's Maddie's first time to live in a house, and she's learning to love it - and learning to love the humans who live there, too. She seems to say "This is what a home is like? Wow! What a wonderful thing! Maddie arrived as a shy, timid dog. Now that she's found out that people are kind and can be trusted, her tail is regularly wagging. She's content to lounge on her doggy bed next to her new human friends all day, then sleep on her bed next to them all night. And when not snoozing, she's happy to hang out with the other eight dogs in the home. Maddie is house-trained and well-behaved when left alone. And she's now learning what a leash is for.
