HONEYDEW the Dog needs a home
Honeydew is a beautiful example of a canine creation that is often the love of some family’s life during their lifetime. This sweet girl who would be called a Tennessee Mutt Treasure is a combination of probably Lab and Hound. This girl is about 50 pounds and has lived in a rural existence of Tennessee for the past few years of her life. She has had a beautiful litter of pups in the past 5 months and fortunately has been spayed to keep that from happening again.
The financially strapped family has reached out to our rescue to help them find good homes for Honeydew and her puppies. This sweet momma dog has a patient and calm temperament and would need some polishing as they say. She is a loving girl that doesn’t have much shyness but does have some when first meeting new people. Her world has been a bit limited in exposure to new things and we are excited to have her get a chance to live a life of adventure and
Inclusion with a family or single person who wants a beloved canine friend in their life. This girl has lived mostly outside all her life but seems smart and bright enough to acclimate very quickly to the comforts of an inside lifestyle.
