Intake reason:
Sweet Hazel appeared at a window of a volunteer, peering in as if to say "Can I come in?" When she went to open the door, the kitten got spooked and ran. So, she set a trap and within a couple of days, she got her. What a doll. She has had human touch because she comes around quickly once shown affection. This picture was taken while she was in her two-week quarantine foster home with Michele. She’ll soon be joining the other kitties in the Meow House at the rescue. She has the sweetest, most adorable face! Why she was abandoned... we have no idea... but unfortunately, it happens all the time. Let’s find her a great home where she’s adored as a loved family member.

If you bring this pet into your heart and home, you will receive in return many years of love, companionship, and loyalty. That’s our guarantee. Keep in mind BEFORE APPLYING that a cat’s lifespan is 15-20 years… sometimes even longer! If you cannot provide a FOREVER home, please do not apply!
**NO BABIES OR SMALL CHILDREN. Cats, and especially kittens, are very fragile. Small children don’t always understand this so unless the family has a responsible cat ownership history reflecting children growing up with cats, we won’t adopt to homes with small children.

We do not reserve animals, unless and until we have approved your application, provided the animal is still available at the time we receive your application. The first APPROVED application we receive will be considered. We are NOT a first come, first serve rescue!! We adopt our rescues out to the RIGHT home, not just A home.
