Monica the Dog needs a home

Hi, I’m Monica!  I’m always so eager to leave my kennel because I love going on adventures. I enjoy romping around in the grass, sniffing everything, and rolling over on my back for belly rubs. I might do silly things like tug on the leash but I promise that I’m not trying to pull you around! I’m just a silly and energy packed girl who sometimes forgets how strong I can be. You know what I love? Treats! I’m learning to sit for treats too! When we meet, you will see the scars on my back. We’re not really sure how they got there. The humans around here believe it’s from a thermal burn. Thankfully the nice people here at ADL treated my burns so that they can heal quickly. I call these scars my beauty markings. They’re proof that I’m a brave girl and won’t let the past bring me down! I’m look forward to a bright future with a special person that I can call my best friend. I hope that best friend can be you.
