1/12/2018  Adorable, sweet Oscar has been returned to the Cat Shack after experiencing litterbox issues in his previous adoptive home.  He's now been treated for a urinary tract infection and has displayed perfect litterbox manners while in his foster home.  He appears to love everyone and is SUPER affectionate with people.  You can tell that this young cat was a bottle-baby because he seems to think he's a human!  Oscar has grown into a big, beautiful cat!

1/1/2017 Oscar is one of five kittens that was found in a local dumpster and surrendered to a local animal hospital. Barely two weeks old, they came into foster care. Oscar and his siblings were bottle fed until they were fully able to be weaned. The litter, Oscar included, is playful, happy, and well socialized. The kittens are very bonded from this litter. Oscar is not yet neutered but will be when he reaches 6 months. He has had his first round of vaccines and will receive his rabies vaccine when he is neutered (included in adoption fee).

The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, tested and altered as part of the adoption contract. This basic care (and other vet work required to make our rescues healthy) is included in the $85 adoption donation!
