Winston D4017 the Dog needs a home
Hi there! Winston is my name and happiness is my game. First off, a big thanks for stopping by to check out my bio! A little bit about my life prior to coming to this MN climate (brrrr!). I was in a shelter down south that was getting pretty full. Sadly, a list was starting to be made to euthanize some of my shelter pals due to the capacity. Emails began flying to get me out of there fast! Some pretty cool volunteers led me to freedom and I haven’t stopped wagging my tail since! Here’s what my foster ma has to say about me….
Winston is one of the happiest dogs I have ever met. This boy acts as though he is at a lifelong birthday party and all the humans smell like frosting. He’s got puppy goofiness but is coming into that perfect age of knowing simple commands, being able to get through the workday in his kennel without accidents, and knowing how to walk on a leash. He currently lives with a pittie foster sister who plays with him, but is perfectly content entertaining himself with a bone or toys (he loves toys!). He gets along with dogs, humans, and has lived with cats for short period of time. In true pittie fashion, Winston is a people pleaser. He will work for his treats and catches on extremely fast. He learned to sit in about 15 mins. and comes when he is called. Winston is a very confident dog and would do great with just about any owner. Brewery time with the bros? Of course! Saturdays are for the good boys, right? Family picnic with a little fetch at the lake? Count him in. This boy is going to make someone a very happy companion but proceed with caution, those bright eyes will lead to a long life of spoiling.
