Newton the Cat needs a home
Hi I'm Newton. I used to live in a feral colony but now I live in the sky. In a condo to be exact. I like it here way better coz there is always plenty of food and it is warm even when there is snow outside. I like the humans, especially the lady as she is the one who gives the food. I try to let her know I like her by letting her pet me and sometimes I rub on her leg at mealtime. The man still scares me though as he makes sudden movements and I don't like that but he is nice too and I let him scratch my head. I don't like either of them when it is "nail trim" time but all is forgiven when I get my Temptations afterwards.
I would do best as the only pet in the home.
The humans say that I will be going to my forever home one day. I hope that I could maybe be the only cat in this new home. But I wouldn't mind another cat that gives me my space. I have FIV but it is only contagious through deep bite wounds and, get this, I have no teeth. LOL! My mouth was sore when I first came from the feral colony but then I had a surgery to take all my teeth out. It was ouchy at first but now I feel way better. I can even still eat my dry kibble.
I like living indoors and I know that I must show my appreciation to the humans. I haven't been able to bring myself to cuddle on the bed yet but I have come a long way from hiding under the bed all day. Now I lounge in my cat hut most of the day. I come out for mealtime and I let the humans pat my head and tummy. Food is the way to my heart. Just cuz I don't cuddle doesn't mean I won't greet you at the door with a loving look when you come home. Come meet me in my castle in the sky! Oh and bring Temptations :)
