Adopt a Domestic Short Hair
Felix the Cat needs a home
Finn, Fiona, and I were trapped from a feral colony in Holly Springs and giving to fosters to socialize. I was about three months old at the time. They named me Felix. I hissed when they tried to touch me, ran when they fed me, and tried to hide when they cleaned the litter box. Let me tell you hiding was hard to do in a big dog crate. After awhile I realized those big two critters were not going to hurt me. Their voices became soothing. I liked not being hungry and thirsty, so I started to trust them. Soon after that I started to allow them to touch me. One day when they forgot to close the door, we escaped that crate and were free to run around in the kitchen. After they took us for our last shots, they put us in a room with other kittens. I was scared of them at first now I like to play with them. I love to play with red dots, rolling balls, dangling strings and other kittens. I do not like to be held nor do I like to be picked up. I do not like loud voices or other loud noises.
P.S. Felix has very unusual markings he has gray fur as well as black and longer white fur; however, he will need to go to a home that has no children and with someone who knows how to work with a cat that is very scared of many things we humans do.
