Adopt a Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat)

Beau was brought to the shelter after he had been a neighborhood stray for awhile. Beau is a very sweet lab mix who is about 4 years old and weighs 56 lbs. He is up to date on vaccines and has been neutered and completely treated for heartworms. Beau can climb fences, so he would need a home with a lunge line or electric fence to keep him contained or simply room to run. Once Beau bonds to you, he sticks right by you and is your constant companion. He is a good protector (was in a home for several days, bonded to the family and growled at strangers that would approach their truck) so he is an awesome dog who would adore being a loved family member. Please rescue sweet Beau, he has been here for months! His adoption fee is only $40!! Wow!

**Beau does well with children over 10 years old. Younger children make him nervous and he will bark or grumble at them. He is NOT aggressive but we want everyone in the home to be comfortable, including Beau**

Unless otherwise stated, the adoption fee for dogs over 4 months is $120.00. Puppies under 4 months are $140.00 The adoption fee includes the animal's surgery, microchip, vaccinations, flea preventative, deworming medication, sample bag of food/treat samples and a free first exam with participating veterinarians. Shelter policy is that all animals must be spayed or neutered prior to leaving the shelter.

Our shelter is open to the public on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm and other times by appointment.
