Starbucks the Dog needs a home

My name is Starbucks! I'm a pointer and pitty mix.  I don't remember my parents.  I was in a home a long time ago, but my guardian liked his drugs more then me, so he made me live with his parents but they didn't really like me much. I had a litter of pups and heartworm disease. These rescue folks saved me and my puppies from being shot and treated my heartworm disease. I have been in a great foster home for awhile and my foster mom says I am perfect.  I am housebroken and love playing outside, going on walks and playing with the other dogs my size. I love interacting with my humans too! Young, old, it doesn't matter! I also know how to sit, stay, jump, and off! My foster mom says I smile all the time! She says she will dread the day my new family finds me. I know she loves me, but she wants me to have my own family. 



My foster mom says I am amazing. I have been with her for 10 months! She has 3 other dog here but tells me I make her feel safe. She says she was selfish for not letting me find my family all this time, but she doesn't realize how happy I am she has been so kind to me. Fosters are so important. She is amazing. I know she will be a great foster mom again someday.  



Starbucks is UTD on vaccines, on heartworm prevention and spayed.  My foster mom wants to meet potential adopters so I can't transport north where my babies found homes, but any adopter who can meet me can apply for me to be their next perfect pup. Love, Starbucks. Because we are foster-based, we only schedule meet & greets to approved adopters. We feel that is fair to the foster family, so every meet & greet has the potential to result in an adoption!


Adoptions handled directly by our rescue are for special circumstance pets.

?Adoption fees are negotiable but our goal is to break even on a pet's medical expenses, although we know that will be the exception and not the case most of the time. 



?As with every rescue, our resources are limited and the need for rescue help is unlimited. 



?Adopting or fostering for a rescue frees up a space where a new rescue can reside.
