Kohl the Dog needs a home
Kohl is a red, 3 year old, 30 lb boy. He was described by the shelter he came from as a lab/basset, though we think he's a dachshund mix. He got a foster home after living in a mall parking lot last winter and was named after the Kohl's store. At first he was almost feral, but four months in foster care did wonders. He was attacked by opossums and part of his coat is shaved where the bites were, but he is doing good now.
His super foster home is moving; thus his transfer to B&B. He is still shy, and he hates having a leash put on him, but he seems to have a good disposition. He has gotten along with the dogs he has met, and he has been getting much braver with people. He should warm up with love and attention. But right now he will need a home that is prepared to handle such a shy dog. It will help him to have another dog in the home, since he's enjoyed hanging out with some of our calmer dogs here.
He has been neutered, has had all his shots, and is microchipped, so he would be available to go to his new home right away. We don't know what breed/s he is beyond doxie.
