Great Pyrenees / Border Collie / Mixed (long coat) Dog

Jax the Dog needs a home

My Human Passed Away.
Jax was born about January 1, 2010 and weighs about 65 lbs.  He's a gorgeous boy with long flowing fur and one blue eye!  He is tall and still on the slimmer side for his breed mix and age.  He is here because his human passed away before her time from an injury.  Family did take him in but they lived where there was a dog limit and they were at their limit - it was a tearful goodbye.  He has a wonderful disposition and they said fine with kids, but he jumped on them.  He must have rather liked them as I've not seen him jump up on any humans here, he's actually very well behaved.  He is wonderful with the other dogs and he lived with 3 cats, but we are told he sometimes chased them.  He is good on leash, but if he sees something fun he may pull.  Jax is wonderful in the car and loves to go places, actually anywhere his human is would be where Jax would like to be.  He has bonded quickly and follows me everywhere and when seated he's either napping or watching me.  He LOVES soccer balls, he had a favorite but it was lost in all the transitions.  He has not been crated, we are told no need as he's been alone as long as 9 hours without any accidents or destruction.  True to the Pyr breed if he gets off leash or is not fenced he does have wanderlust.  He is furry, will shed, and it's white so tough if you wear lots of dark clothes.  We are so glad that he was able to come here to stay with us for awhile until his new forever home comes along.
The Adoption Fee for this dog is $325.00.
