Beau the Dog needs a home
Beau is a gem! Besides needing a little basic obedience training he is a fun, happy, well-adjusted pup. We think he probably lived with a houseful of kids and other pets as he is great with kids and loves to play other dogs. He came into our rescue when the family could no longer afford to keep him. He was very thin when he first arrived. Vet thinks he's around 1 year old. He is currently living in a foster home and is thriving. Foster family has several cats and says Beau is not a fan of the kitties. He loves dog parks, long walks, playing with the neighborhood kids and snuggling. He even goes with foster dad to work every day. His ideal home would involve lots of exercise -- he currently runs a mile every morning with foster dad but long walks or hikes or lots of visits to the dog park would also be good options for Beau. Foster dad says he thinks Beau would love a home with another playful dog and a fenced yard where he can chase balls and play with his canine sibling or friends. He is smart and a fast learner and might even make a great agility dog.
