Bodie the Dog needs a home
This guy has a French name, Boudreaux, but he asked for a nickname because he was afraid the other dogs would make fun of him. Now we all call him Bodie, and he loves that! Bodie is an 11 month old mix of Labrador Retriever and Great Dane. He presently weighs 89 lbs., and will mature to 100. When we brought him out of the shelter and into our rescue, we noticed that he was constantly rubbing his face with his paw. Turned out that he needed surgery for entropy which simply means that his eyelids were rolled in toward the eye. Surgery was able to correct that, but his face is not yet completely healed.
Bodie is a wonderful and playful and gentle boy. He loves to play! (But don’t get him the toys that are stuffed; he’ll rip it all out!!!) Bodie loves people as well as other dogs, and he’s wonderful to have around! A real Sweetie Pie! (posted 1/15/18, ME, N/A)

Adoption: $285 which covers quarantine, shots, worming, food, medical records, spaying/neutering, and an Alabama State Health Certificate.
Transport, if needed : $120.00 We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip from Alabama. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs.
