Spike the Dog needs a home
Hi! My name is SPIKE! I am currently a resident at E. Valley Animal Shelter. I was hit by a car (ouch!) on 9/22 and broke my pelvis. My family never came for me. I am healed now but I walk with a limp. I’m kept in the medical area so the folks that come to the shelter to “adopt” don’t see me. It’s really hard to get adopted when no one sees you! I’m a 4 year old pit bull mix… a big boy w/ a gorgeous smile. I know how to “sit” and “shake” and give gentle kisses! I love people and need a special someone to love me back. I won’t be able to go running w/ you but I can go for walks, watch TV w/ you, whatever! I'm probably dog friendly but since I can't be tested right now due to my injury a little training and socialization will help ensure that I'm the best I can be. I need to buff up a bit so some physical therapy would help, too. Please, please consider me! Hope to see you soon! Love, Spike.
