Atkins the Dog needs a home
Atkins was recently rescued from his life as a stray and has quickly adjusted to a new life around humans. He has an uncontainable zest for life and loves to play, whether it be indoors or out. His favorite game is fetch and can play for hours! His foster mom runs a daycare out of her home and he is great around both kids and infants. Atkins knows basic commands like sit and go lie down and will continue to learn more as time goes on. He just mastered stairs and we are still working on leash training. He corrects quickly and easily, but is still a puppy so he has his mischievous moments! He is a total lap dog, loves to be around his people, and is content to sleep in his bed or on the couch for most of the day. He prefers to be in his dog bed by you overnight, but does just fine in a crate. One of his most endearing qualities - he doesn't just wag his tail, he wags his whole body!”
