Adopt a Torbie / Tortoiseshell (short coat)
Toffee the Cat needs a home
BARN HOME NEEDED for this kitty! She's too skittish, and unwilling to be handled and petted
Toffee is a "Torbie", a tabby/tortoiseshell mixture.
This tabby/tortoiseshell kitty is delicate & petite, rather shy & nervous; very quick to hide - but often playful (she likes to toss her toys in the air and chase them around), and talkative when she has something to say (in an adorable little chirp of a voice)!
She has a very distinguishing peach mark on her forehead somewhat like a "bindi" that Indian women wear on their foreheads to indicate that they're married, as well as other subtle peach coloring throughout.
She was born December of 2014; and small in size—only about 7 lbs and not anticipated to grow any larger. She was brought in off the streets in the Walnut Hills area, a new mom with kittens. (Can you believe she came into our adoption program with a litter of 5 little kittens? Very quickly, they were almost as big as she was!)
She's been fostered in a home with other cats and a couple of dogs; so she's gotten used to a variety of things and would probably fit in easily into any new household. Toffee has been spayed, vaccinated, combo-tested - negative - for feline aids and leukemia, and micro-chipped. The adoption fee is $50.00.
