This is Ruby Mae,
she is 8-9 months old (est. bd 5/6/2017) and approx 30 lbs.
Ruby has a "REALLY, are you kidding me rescue story..."
The rescue that we networked with and are receiving her from wrote this. We were on a Facebook PM with some locals down in TX and there was a Great Pyrenees wandering the streets. We knew a rescue that would take him so we asked the locals to look for him and catch him if possible. The only problem was the locals speak Spanish.. and, we don't.. Days went by and POOF! They found our Pyrenees! But, our "Pyrenees" was Ruby! There she was in a wire crate ready to come to Oklahoma. We tried to tell them that the beautiful Miss Ruby was not, in fact, a Pyrenees but they said "You wanted a dog wandering the streets? You got one." And, THAT is how we came to have Miss Ruby :) - You have to love a rescue story and mission. Their Pyrenees was later found also.
Ruby Mae LOVES dogs, cats (even though the cat isn't too sure of her!) and kids!
Ruby is in a temp foster home in OK filled with dogs and children. She has a special crush on a mini schnauzer there and they're best buds.
The only thing Ruby needs to complete her happy ending is a forever family in Colorado to call her own. Ruby is making her way to EAPL and she will be reviewing applications with her Colorado foster mom soon! Put in an application today.
