Domestic Short Hair (short coat) Cat

Iris the Cat needs a home

Precious Iris is such a delicate flower. As soon as you pick her up, she totally relaxes into your arms. Iris is the goddess of rainbows, and I think that fits this goddess very well. She colors the lives of those around her, and brings joy to all she encounters. She
was surrendered to a high kill facility, and Partners for Pets saved her when her time was up.

After spending a short amount of time in her foster home, precious Iris' foster mom noticed something was not quite right about her. After a medical inquiry, we learned Iris has an old vertebral injury. Because of the injury, Iris cannot tell when her bladder is full. It isn't a big deal, she just needs help expressing her bladder (squeezing her belly). Her tail has also lost feeling, so it no longer stands erect. Brave and sweet Iris does not let any of this hold her back. Iris' future of a long, happy life is not changed by her medical diagnosis.
She is great with other cats. She loves spending time on her foster mom's screened-in porch. She is such a sweet and beautiful girl. Everyone that meets her falls instantly in love.

Her coat is very distinctive, as well.

S

he stands out in a crowd as a top beauty, with her long elegant face. She is so ready to meet you and come home with you!
