Good with children:  Has not been around toddlers, is fine with older children

Priscilla came to AAMR from a local pound facility when she had beautiful newborn puppies.  The puppies have all been adopted and now she needs to find the perfect family that will love her forever.  She is an easy pup to deal with - very content, easy-going and not demanding ... but she's always the Mama and she will correct unruly youngsters in a second! Her one blue eye and one blue/brown eye are strikingly beautiful - and sometimes a little intimidating! She needs daily exercise but not miles and miles of walking/running.  She does love to be outside to just lie in the sun so a fenced yard would be a great bonus for her. Her other favorite place to be in on the sofa!  She has nice inside manners and is just a great companion!

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

 When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if Priscilla picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.
