Harley Quinn Super Affectionate Labritt the Dog needs a home
Harley Quinn is a 7m 25lb Labritt--black Lab Pitti mix w/ no current or previous medical issues. Finder had her for a little over a week. Previously lived with 5 Adults Harley is friendly/outgoing around strangers. She loves playing w/ other nice dogs and loves people (super affectionate), not so much cats so we recommend a home w/out.
For a New Family to Know Harley is described as friendly, affectionate, and playful. She had a medium activity level and likes to play with balls and squeaky toys. In the home, she liked to follow the finder around from room to room. She was fed both wet and dry food in the finders home. Harley is partially house trained and working hard to learn her manners:). When left alone in the home or yard, she was well behaved but NO dog should ever be left unattended. For exercise, she was taken on slow walks on leash and does not pull. (Finder did not try to walk her off leash so behavior is unknown.)
When off leash at the Care Center, Harley initially greets the male helper dog with a tense, tucked posture but mostly wanders the yard. She does offer a few bows towards the end of the session. She displays raised hackles and a nervous posture when greeting a novel female dog. She most keeps to herself in a group of calm dogs, and is tolerant of prolonged face to face greets.

Many of us (cats/dogs) will be on display on on Sundays and sometimes on Saturdays--please ask by writing us at [email protected] and following us on FB. If you are seriously interested in adopting one of us in particular, please fill out an application by Friday so that we can be sure to be there. Otherwise we decide based on other variables. Usually we are in our foster homes so this is a bit more stressful and a slightly artificial environment but we do want to be seen and find our furever homes too.
