Oris the Dog needs a home
Say hello to Oris, our beloved one-eyed Long Haired Dachshund/Papillon mix! Oris arrived from Mexico earlier this summer with his left eye in bad shape. A vet consultation, quick surgery, and a few weeks of recovery later, Oris has a clean bill of health and is ready to go home! Oris is a sweet, friendly, mellow, affectionate, easygoing, submissive, and low-maintenance little guy. Oris may be a tad unprepossessing in appearance when it comes to his missing peeper, but believe us when we say this is one amazing pooch with a heart of gold! Oris gets along well with other dogs and people alike. He is a very approachable pup who loves belly rubs. If you sit down with him, he’ll rub himself against you for more scratches behind his ears, and he will even try to climb into your lap to maximize contact. We have reason to believe that Oris is already housebroken as he does both #1 and #2 as soon as he is taken outside in the morning. He is just over 3 years of age and weighs all of 10 pounds. Look into his eye and you’ll see that Oris is a total sweetheart who deserves a forever home to call his own!
