Adopt a Boxer / Beagle / Mixed (short coat)
CHAMP the Dog needs a home
Champ is indeed just that a CHAMP. This
handsome
guy has lived most
,
if not all his life tied up out back with no shelter and little to no attention
at home
. Adopted as a puppy from
a local Tennessee shelter
he came back once the shelter found out he was not being treated properly. Critter Cavalry Rescue decided to help him have a second
chance
at a better life and brought him to a foster who thinks he is pretty special
!
This guy seems to be a Beagle/Hound mix and is just 18 months old and weighs 43 pounds.
Despite his
bad
beginning
in life with the wrong family,
he is still very eager for love and attention. Obviously, being an "outside dog" most his life he will need to learn his
inside
manners and
about complete housebreaking
.
His dog savvy f
oster mom has him on about a 2 hour schedule going outside and hasn't had any accidents as yet. He is great in his crate at night, and he will need some chew toys for himself. He is great with other dogs, but not cat friendly. Great with kids of all ages, but does jump up so small kids will need to be watched so they're not knocked down and smothered with kisses.
His f
oster mom has a 3 yr old boy who is rough and tumble and Champ has been nothing but loving towards him. He is just one big, goofy, energetic, love bug who is thirsty for love and attention.
Would you like to help this sweet boy have a terrific life that promises no tie outs and inside house privileges filled with love and kindness???
