Adopt a Tuxedo (medium coat)
Momo the Cat needs a home
Meet Momo:
Momo was brought into us by Ann from the Major Mac and Rutherford area in June this year. Ann had noticed Momo on her way to work one day. When she stopped and got out of her vehicle Momo took off. She started to stop each day and put out food for him. After about a week Momo would be waiting for her just not to close.
As the days/months passed Momo started to wait and get a bit closer to Ann even allowing some petting. One day as Ann was putting down food she noticed another person and found out this person had moved away and left Momo behind.
So many cats like Momo are left behind outside and must fight to survive. Which is exactly what Momo did. He has a few battle scars to prove it and is unsure when the other cats get to close. It would be best if Momo was the only cat in a home. He has come a long way in a short time. From a cat that would hiss and swat at the slightest suggestion of a stroke or nearness from one of our volunteers, to a cat that will come to greet you at the door and rub himself around your legs.
If you offer your hand slowly he loves his head scratched and will roll over for a tummy rub. He has not learned to let you know he has had enough by getting up and leaving, he will sometimes reach out to swat you. We sincerely believe in a home with lots of patience, love and understanding Momo would learn to trust and eventually become a big lap cat.
If you want to be the one to show Momo what it is like to have a “furever” home and family of his very own, please fill out an adoption application and contact us.
