Adopt a Husky

UPDATE:   I MET DIANDY ON MONDAY AND DISCOVERED HE IS 11 NOT 14 YO. HE IS UP TO DATE ON HIS VACCINATIONS. HAS ONE CLOUDY EYE BUT THE OTHER EYE SEEMS TO BE OK. HE IS VERY ACTIVE DEFINITELY NEEDS A LARGE BACKYARD AND A LOT OF EXERCISE, QUITE MOUTHY, NEEDS A “REFRESHER COURSE” IN HOUSEBREAKING, AND APPARENTLY DOESN’T LIKE GROOMING. DIANDY NEEDS AN EXPERIENCED PERSON WITH THE HUSKY BREED. HE HAS LIVED WITH CATS AND YOUNG CHILDREN BUT NOT OTHER DOGS. WE ARE LOOKING FOR A FOSTER HOME WITHOUT CHILDREN OR CATS TO HELP HIM DECOMPRESS AND REACCLIMATE TO LIVING IN A HOME WITH A FAMILY.

My name is Diandy and I am an 11yo distinguished Husky gentleman. My father became ill and went into the hospital. His family was unable to take care of me  but found a boarding situation until he got better. They told me it would be a short stay and he would be home for Christmas. Unfortunately Christmas came & went but my father never came home. I’m a quiet guy who spends most of my time sleeping. I do enjoy going for walks and walk well on a leash. Although I am a little apprehensive when having my leash put on but once it’s on I’m raring to go. Being 11 it takes a little while for my joints to loosen up but when they do I can run and play.  I LOVE tennis balls, but please don’t throw them too far. I appreciate a large backyard and spending quality time there with my person. Boarding is no place for an older guy like me. Won’t you take me home with you.

We are looking for a foster or permanent home so Diandy can spend his remaining time in comfort with a caring family. He is in good shape/health for a 11 yo dog. Maybe a little cranky due to his situation but we are sure he will be a happy furbaby in a warm loving home.
