Plum w/Calliope the Bird needs a home

Hi, my name is Plum and I am a beautiful Archangel Pigeon that was picked up as a stray and brought to the San Jose Animal Control office. I high-tailed it outta there when Palomacy came to pick me up! Thank goodness they saved me in time. I soon found a mate, Calliope, and we are very happy together. I can be a bit of a bully, so I'd do best with a strong flock, or on our own. We have been living outdoors in an aviary with another pigeon couple until recently when we were moved to the SF SPCA's Youth Programs! We are currently volunteers at their Education Department and doing great things for pigeon education as well as being socialized (I'm not really a people bird as of now). However, while that's great, we would love nothing more than to find our very own family and forever home.
