All dogs with PUP are in private foster homes so we can provide our potential adopters the most current information available.



Health: Nicky has been neutered and microchipped. He is current on his DHPP, Bordetella, and Rabies. He has been wormed, flea treated, and tested negative for heartworm.

History: Nicky comes from an overcrowded shelter in California. PUP was asked to help and we are so glad we did. All dogs PUP pulls from California come with health certificates, as required by Washington state.

 is with great pleasure that we introduce you to Nicky! In almost nine years of fostering, he truly stands out as a one of the most special pups to come through our door.

Nicky is a friendly, happy-go-lucky, confident and adventurous little dog and don’t let his petite stature fool you! Since becoming a PUP dog, he has enjoyed a 6 mile hike, a playful afternoon on the beach with multiple buddies and several gazelle-like laps in the backyard. He has the heart and enthusiasm of dogs much larger than he is!

Nicky’s house manners are excellent! He is house trained, crate trained and very quiet. He has been spotted sitting at the back door waiting to go out. When crated at night, he prefers to sleep in our room and does not make peep. He enjoys the company of other playful dogs and gets long very well with our two, one of whom is 75 lbs.  We are fine- tuning some basic commands; he is food motivated and responds well to tone of voice. He is also incredibly loving and affectionate.

We are looking for a family that will offer him lots of activity, adventure and companionship. Nicky is very social and he would love to be someone’s daily sidekick. He would also be a great office dog! Having another friendly, playful dog to romp and snuggle with in his new home would be ideal.
