Meet Coco, the energetic, 30 pound American Pit Bull Terrier who looks and acts younger than she is! Coco is 9 years old, but aging with grace (Meryl Streep would be envious) and is more full of life and joy than much younger dogs she knows. She is a pocket sized, spunky gal who wants to lay in the sun, snooze next to you, and play with toys and other dogs. Coco is family friendly and loves kids; but would do best in a house that has easy going male dogs as she really likes the boys. She is still working on manners and commands, but is house and crate trained. She is just so exuberant about life she can't contain herself! Coco is wonderful and sweet and confident! Please come out to an adoption event and meet this sweet gal with a gigantic underbite (the most serious underbite ever)! We will accept out of town applications, but any family further than 60 miles from Charlotte is responsible for finding a representative of a rescue local to them that is willing to perform the home check. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as the application is approved.***
