Natasha the Dog needs a home
Natasha is a beautiful plott hound brindle mix! She was found as a stray with her 3 pups, and was malnourished and sick when Second Chance took her in. She was an amazing mom to her three pups, but was happy to be separated when the time came!
Natasha came to us as a heartworm positive baby, but she has since been through treatment and is on the mend. Natasha is looking for a forever home where she will get lots of attention and be able to hang out with her people! Natasha is very sweet, and she'll follow you around waiting patiently for petting or even kind words. She is housebroken and though interested in household trinkets, does a pretty good job learning what is a dog toy vs what is not, She is wonderful with all people, and loves kids. She loves laying by your side on a dog bed (or your bed), and joining you for a walk. She needs some training in terms of barking - as she'll bark when dogs pass by or there is commotion in the street, and it's hard to distract her. She's good on leash, though she will pull if she sees a squirrel, and seems genuinely thankful for the time and attention received. She relishes romping in the back yard and rolling around in the leaves and grass!
Natasha is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and has been dewormed. Her adoption fee is $225.
