Snickers the Dog needs a home
It's no wonder I'm named Snickers, I mean just by the look of my chocolate, caramel, and vanilla coloring, I'm as sweet as can be! I know being a rescue mix might give me a bad rep, but I promise I don't fit the stereo-type of a small (I'm only 22 pounds!), "yappy" dog! I'm quite the opposite. In fact, I'm very quiet and just LOVE to snuggle. I'll fit perfectly into your lap or by your side, whatever you prefer!
As long as I'm let outside for potty 3-4 times a day, I'm 100% potty trained! Not too bad for a little guy, hey? I'm also really smart, because I know how to sit, stay, lay, and most importantly - come! I get along with all people, kids, and other pets, but huge, excited dogs can make me a bit nervous! I soon warm up to them once they've calmed down.
I sleep in my crate at night and when my foster mom is away, I happily sleep in my crate as well! Just give me an antler and I'm perfectly content. She tells everyone I'm affectionate, playful, cuddly, trainable, entertaining, and (my namesake) sweet! You wouldn't think such a big personality could fit into one small dog, but what can I say? I'm one of a kind.
I'm currently going through heartworm treatment, but my foster mom has been so diligent getting me 100% healthy! I can't wait to meet you - especially if I smell any treats on you!
