We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. How can you not fall in love with that little sweetie pie face??!! Vernon was found wandering the streets of South Texas and taken to a high kill shelter where he was very scared & had no clue what was going to happen to him along with the looming fear he would be EU'd as the shelter was full, when a plea was sent out to help. A LHS foster mom saw him and knew she had to get him out & help him begin a new life with endless possibilities.
Virgil is a 2-3 yr. old, 13lb. Terrier? mix who is UTD on all his vaccines, neutered, micro-chipped, current on HW prevention and crate/house trained. Virgil is HW+ and will be treated at the end of November & this is included in his adoption fee. He does great on the leash, fine with other dogs, (may do best as an only dog), kids and cats. Virgil is a bit shy at first and will need someone who has patience to work with him to help him feel comfortable In his new environmen. He Loves to play in & outsiDe or just chill! Now all he needs is his new FUREVER home...... could that be with you??!!
