My History

I’ve been through a lot of emotional challenges but I’m resilient and I have stayed strong.  I lived with my original owner and my siblings in our own house.  Unfortunately, my owner passed away in our home.  I stayed close to him and comforted him until they came for us. When we were rescued from my original house, I was soon rescued again by my Dad! I’ve lived with him my whole life up until now. We’ve moved a lot but I always protected my Dad and stayed very close to him.  He was very good to me and I know how much he loves me.  When my mom lived with my Dad she treated me just like her son. We all took care of each other.   She also loves me fiercely unconditionally.    My Mom and Dad aren’t living together anymore and my dad became disabled and can no longer care for me.

I will be by your side no matter what happens.  Together, we can do anything! I am very independent and sometimes feisty but I love my owner and I love companionship.  I’m a good listener and very curious.  I’m affectionate, I like almost everyone I meet and I’m very eager to please you! I have a medium to medium high energy level.  I enjoy playing ball and tug, running outside and I even like to just lay in the sun or shade but I am most happy when you are right beside me.  I prefer to hang out in my own space or dog bed and chew on my bones but I like you to be close!
