Adopt a Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)
Oscar the Cat needs a home
Oscar started out as a shy boy who would run and hide but has since opened up and comes running as soon as the door opens. He loves to hang out and watch movies (the TV really interests him). He loves playing with toys and running around exploring. He doesn't like to be held for too long but doesn't mind it for a short amount of time. He is a gentleman and does not hiss. Oscar also loves other cats and dogs. His favorite thing to do is eat -especially treats! Oscar is a great cat to hang out with and would make a great addition to any family.
This kitty is currently in foster care.
In order to schedule a Meet & Greet with any of our cats or kittens that are in foster care, we ask you to FIRST submit an online adoption application, that can found on our website. This is to insure that you are serious about adopting. Before your scheduled meet & greet appointment we asked for you to please look over our adoption process to fully understand what we need for our adoption process. Thank you for choosing to adopt!
As a no-kill rescue, we can only bring in and save more cats and kittens in need as our current cats and kittens are adopted. This is why we say that when you adopt one cat or kitten you are actually saving TWO lives! One is the current cat or kitten that you are adopting, the second is the one that we now have room to save and place into our safe shelter.
About The Cat Corner:
The Cat Corner was founded by a very passionate and devoted animal lover, Martha Nicholson. After seeing an overwhelming number of cats homeless and being euthanized, Martha was determined to open a no-kill shelter to make a difference in these cats' lives. In 1981, Martha purchased an old barber shop at her own expense and opened The Cat Corner in Hampton, Virginia. The Cat Corner is a completely volunteer operated organization and is solely funded by donations from the community. Because of the help of our caring and hardworking volunteers and the support and donations from our community, we have been able to uphold Martha's dream and make a difference in countless lives...and doing so for over three decades!
The Cat Corner, Inc. is a nonprofit, all-volunteer-run organization that does not receive any federal, state or local government funding. We depend solely from the generosity of caring individuals from our community to continue to do our work. www.TheCatCornerInc.com
