Joan the Dog needs a home
Greetings all! I'm Joan and, as you can see from my pictures, I'm a one-eyed girl. Doesn't stop me from being just like any other dog...not one bit! You see, when I was rescued, I had an injury and had to have surgery. Well, lo and behold, I had a broken off blade in my eye. Yup...big ouch! But, I'm all better now and enjoying my new life!
I'm a strong, medium energy girl who, although I weigh 50 lbs, I consider myself a lap dog. Of course, only if you'll let me! Hehe! When I'm not playing and having fun with toys or getting exercise on walks, I enjoy a good belly rub and snuggling with humans. And I return the affection with my own brand of affection...sloppy kisses of adoration! Did I mention how much I adore affection? Yes indeed. I would love to have a family where the people are around...so I can get all the affection I crave. But remember, being the sweet and grateful girl I am, you can always know that I'll return affection so you know how much I love and appreciate you! Oh, and a family with older kids would be good for me...because I just get silly when playing and exploring this wonderful world and I don't want to knock over the little ones.
Yup, I think I will make the perfect pet for someone. So, I'm waiting patiently for someone to fall head-over-heels in love with me...and take me to my forever home! Are you feeling those sparks yet???
