Cilantro, along with his brothers, Sweet Basil and Oregano, were so sick and weak when rescued by Loving Care Cat Rescue that it was not sure they would survive. Cilantro’s eye was so infected that veterinarians were concerned that he would lose it. However, with care, he has fully recovered, except for a slight loss of vision in his eye, which is exaggerated in his pictures. He is a special needs kitten because of he may require medication for possible reoccurrences of a gum infection.
Cilantro is a large, energetic young kitten, very sleek and muscular, with a panther’s face and body. He is so distinguished by his one white whisker! He is affectionate and playful. Cilantro purrs loudly when held, and loves to be held like a baby. He is a lover of luxury-he only uses the very softest beds and blankets for his naps. Cilantro also loves his dinner! The “Black Boy Herbal Brothers” are the first to arrive at the kitten buffet dinner table!
Cilantro gets along well with other cats. He has had no contact with dogs, but should easily learn to live with a gentle non-dominant dog. He would be an ideal family pet and lifelong buddy to a middle school or older child as well as the perfect companion to a couple/single person.

CILANTRO’S ID number is 17CEE008. His adoption fee includes a negative feline FIV/FeLV test, distemper and rabies vaccinations, de-worming medications and preventative flea treatment, as well being neutered. He is
a healthy, energetic kitten, all ready to go to his new home!
