Hello! I'm Pineapple (on the right). I was just a baby king pigeon minding my own little business when I was yanked out of my nest and taken to market to be sold (and killed and eaten) as squab. Somehow, I ended up at the SFACC and was named Pineapple and when I was once again going to be killed (as "surplus"), I was rescued by MickaCoo Pigeon & Dove Rescue. I am SO lucky! I was rescued with another little baby pigeon (Petey) and we are safe and growing up fast. King pigeons are domestic and we can't be released- we need to be adopted and to have a good, safe home.
