Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) Cat

Jaymee the Cat needs a home

Jaymee is an incredible cat. She's so sweet and loving and playful and we could go on and on about her! Jaymee has been in our shelter since January 2017. This is longer than any cat should ever have to spend in a cage. She has grown up in a cage. Want to know why? Jaymee tested positive for Feline Leukemia (Felv for short) which is transmitted to other cats but not to dogs or people. The virus weakens the immune system and often shortens the lifespan of the affected cat. However Jaymee is a fighter and has been very healthy in our care. She has a best friend named Roland (also Felv positive) and they are searching for their forever home together. They absolutely adore each other and have been each others only comfort living here for so long. Jaymee is such a fun cat, she loves to play, she loves to snuggle, and most of all she would love to find a forever home! Please contact us with any questions you might have! Her life is worth saving, she deserves a family to call her own.
