Lady Jane the Dog needs a home
Lady Jane came to us from another shelter after she'd been left in a night drop area there to have her puppies. Her babies have all been adopted and now it's her turn!
We have no idea what breed she is. She looks very much like a Doberman Pinscher, but is only 30 lbs. Janie is a cuddler. She loves to curl up right against you on the couch or on the bed if she's allowed. She also really likes other dogs, so we are looking to find her a home with another canine companion, particularly one that is very people-friendly. It seems as if Lady Jane did not get much exposure to other humans besides the ones she knows and loves, so she is unsure of new people, but we feel that with another dog to model friendly behavior for her, she will overcome that challenge quickly.
Our Janie will make a fabulous pet for the right family. She's beautiful, loving, listens well, and wants to please. She will need someone with a bit of patience, understanding, and hopefully a gregarious canine sibling to help with her shyness of unfamiliar people.
