Adopt a Pit Bull Terrier / Mastiff / Mixed (short coat)

Are you looking for an all around great family addition…have you always wanted a big soft cuddle bug, then look no further, you found me! So let me introduce myself, my name is Boddy (Buddy) and I am a 5 year old Pit Bull / Mastiff mix, I weigh about 70 pounds, I have been neutered and I have been told more than once I am so cool and collected my foster should have named me Fonzy. After being cared for by a truly wonderful and caring homeless man who did everything in his power to keep me healthy, fed, loved and fit I was rescued from the streets of Anaheim by one of the many loving family members of I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue. I now live with my foster daddy, Paul, in his apartment with his other foster dog, Wylie, and we all get along great! I would love a playmate in my furever home but if I am the only dog I will not turn down the adoption offer. I have also been told that I am very smart and contrary to my size, I am beyond gentle. If I drop a toy behind a piece of furniture, a china cabinet or even a baby crib I will tip-toe around the item like a tiger to retrieve my toy and if I can’t reach I will wait for assistance. I am good with all dogs, people and kids. Even though I am very calm and mellow I can still go for a crazy run or for a car ride because I love to socialize. I can live with a single person but I would prefer to be part of a large family since I am so social. I would also love a fellow playmate but if not 2-legged humans will be fine. I definitely need someone or a large family who has the time and energy to provide me with the direction and attention every dog needs. I would definitely prefer to live in a house with a yard but as long as I get outdoors regularly an apartment will work. I am very attentive, witty, assertive and eager to please…so just give me a chance.
