One look at Brody and all you can think is Absolutely Gorgeous!!
This boy was on the streets of Dowdy Ferry for quite some time. The guardian angels who look out for those helpless ones out on the streets in this area kept a close eye on him. They fed him to earn his trust and then looped him with the slip lead, just as he was eating a SPAM snack.
Brody is a very loyal boy who has learned that living the bachelor life with his Foster Dad is so much better than life on the streets. No longer must he search for a safe place to sleep; or go looking for his next meal in the trash. He sleeps on a soft bed and enjoys fresh meals and heathy treats.
Brody is looking for a home where he will be safe in a secure home. He has learned to trust his Foster, so he no longer darts toward the door or tries to jump the fence. We are looking for a dedicated adopter who is ready to teach Brody how his is life is going to be awesome. We are looking for a family with the time to enroll in manners classes to teach him to be the best he can be.
Brody has now completed his heartworm treatment; and his activity level is ramping up to normal again. He has been loose leash walking and learning manners, now that he can get out and about. He is a gorgeous dog that has such potential.
Brody would flourish with a human who wants to continue his training. He is a big boy who has learned basic training, but he is so smart, he would excel with additional classes and a very active human companion. Older children or teenagers would be best. He has no clue his size or power. He truly believes he is a lap dog.
