Hi I’m Skye Blue, my foster mom calls me Skye for short. I was found outside in a park in this frigid cold weather and turned into a shelter by my nice finders. I was very shut down and scared in the shelter so I needed to find a rescue to get me out of there. Since joining Ruff Start and my foster home, I have gained so much confidence and opened up great. I do need proper time to adjust to new environments but after a couple of days, I start to feel comfortable and just want so much love and attention! I get along with other cats after proper introductions. Dont let my small size fool you though, I like to be the dominant cat in the house so would do best with more laid back cats. I'm not too fond of the dogs in the house, they scare me since they are so much bigger than I am and I would love a home without dogs in it so I can relax. I love when my people are around, I am extremely cuddly and just want to be around them all of the time! My foster mom is my favorite, when I see her I like to chat (meow) so she will come pet me (she always gives in since I'm so cute). Once I’m confident in my environment I purr a lot and love to play with toys, I have become quite a happy girl. I’ve been given my new shot at life and now just need to find the perfect family to share it with! I have so much love to give and would be so happy to meet you!

All Ruff Start dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention (dogs) as well as heartworm tested (dogs).
Ruff Start Rescue is a foster based rescue. Animals are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a facility where animals are kept.
