Stella the Dog needs a home
Stella ia an absolutely gorgeous girl who came to us as an owner surrernder after her owner fell on hard times. While Stella was loved, she was never cared for properly and came to us pregnant with nine puppies, heartworm positive and postive for tick disease. Despite all of that that, her disposition is incredible. She is always happy to see her foster mom and sticks like glue to people. She had never been inside and never walked on a leash. Despite that, she's been in the foster home just a few short days, has never had an accident in the house and is learning to walk on a leash. Stella is expected to deliver her babies any time now and then her heartworm and tick disease treatment can start when her puppies can be weaned which is about 5 or 6 weeks. She will then be spayed so she never has another litter and start her treatment. Once she is able to do that, she will be available as a foster to adopt. We will cover her heartworm treatment and take care of all of her medical needs through that treatment. If you are looking for a beautiful and well behaved girl, please meet Stella.
