Honey the Dog needs a home
HONEY ~ She’s a 4-5 years old and 12-13 pounds chihuahua mix. She is mellow, cuddly love bug looking for her best friend for life. She warms up more easily to women it just takes more time and patience with men.
Honey needs to be with someone who is forgiving, patient and understanding of her - she’s such a love but needs that type of environment to thrive.
She gets along children, dogs and even cat tested. She is a sweet and sensitive soul.
She is a great companion and doesn’t like being away from the people she loves for very long. She’s easy to have around and travel with in car, bottom of the stroller, hotel rooms and just walking along the streets and cafes. She loves to just cuddle up and sit hanging out in the sunshine or the couch cushions.
She is good with cats and calm dogs - over energetic dogs can make her feel overwhelmed. She walks, jumps and runs on 3 legs as she was born with a defective back joint but it doesn’t affect her at all - she is extremely fast and prefers the retractable leash an will walk for miles. Watching her makes you smile and realize how special she is!
She is low shed and its rare you might hear her bark. She is very friendly, but again sometimes gets nervous around men but warms up. She’s sensitive and very smart. Quickly picks up on what you want from her. She has so much love to give and is definitely looking to be loved. Her name says it all - she is a total Honey.
