Tyson the Cat needs a home

Tyson came to Heartland from Troy, MO in 2013. He was a wee baby and I had to bottle feed her and his littermates as his mama was killed by a dog. The litter mates were both adopted in 2013 and Tyson is still waiting his chance at a forever home. Black kitties are the last to be chosen and Tyson is no exception to that rule. He is docile and gets along with all other kitties, he loves kitty treats and canned food, and brushing, and nose touches, and playing chase with his friends. He can be skittish of new people and trust has to be earned, but once you are trusted you are a friend. He meets me at the door of his foster room and slaps my shoes to get me to move to the food bowl faster, yes this does indeed get on my nerves! But he has his priorities and once his treat is eaten he is all about getting brushed. He loves to put his paws on my chest and kiss my nose while I scratch his cheeks and torso. Color is the only reason this kitty is still in foster care and I certainly cannot change his color! A little patience is all you need to have a wonderful friend and companion in this cat. Tyson was born around July 14, 2013 and has been in foster care almost his entire life. Tyson is neutered, up to date on all shots, micro chipped, negative for FIV and FeLV, and treated for parasites. Tyson is Heartland #8251CL.
