Arthur the Cat needs a home
Sweet, handsome Arthur is a real charmer, making friends with everyone within moments of meeting them. He loves to be held and petted, and will happily curl up on your lap for some snuggle time. And what could be better on a cold winter's day than having Arthur as your lap warmer! He's a young fellow, only about a year old, so he's very much interested in playing, especially with wand toys. It's quite entertaining to watch him make great leaps in the air to catch a toy. Before landing in his foster home, Arthur was an unneutered stray, and that's how his foster mom thinks he contracted FIV, or feline immunodeficiency virus. FIV in cats is similar to HIV in humans, though FIV+ cats can live for long stretches, many years even, without symptoms or problems from FIV. In fact, FIV+ cats can, with appropriate care, live a normal lifespan. Arthur is healthy and happy now and doesn't know he's FIV+. All he knows is that there's a wonderful person or family out there who believes he deserves a loving, forever home as much as any other kitty. Are you that wonderful person?
The adoption fee for this cat is $135, which helps with the cost of routine vet care.
