Ginger the Cat needs a home

This cat is part of our shelter outreach program where we take pets from overcrowded shelters in hopes of finding them a forever home here! We generally do not have much background info on them. They are all up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Unique markings called "blotched tabby".  


Ginger is a mellow adult, about 6 years old, who is new here and still adjusting to shelter life.  She seems calm and undemanding, a bit reserved, but she responds well to a soft touch and a soothing voice.  While she enjoys having her cheeks scratched and will thank you with an audible purr, she will also let you know when she's had enough.  We think Ginger would do best in a quiet home with an experienced cat owner who understands that she needs her own personal space.  With time and patience, she will make someone a loyal and loving companion for life.  


*Per JSAC policy, puppies and kittens under 6 months will not be adopted to families with children under the age of 6 years.
