Columbo Kosovo the Dog needs a home
"The heart sees what the eyes cannot" - although Columbo is blind, he has a big heart & a lot of love to give to someone who will give him a chance to share it. This sweet boy doesn't let a small thing like being blind interfere with his love for life! Here's what his foster mom says:
Meet Columbo Kosovo, a 7 or 8 year old terrier mix! He is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met and has quickly become my little shadow, following me around my apartment. Even though he's blind, he quickly figured out the layout of our house and can navigate with few issues. We've started yelling "wall" anytime there is something in his way, and he's picked up on the cue to slow down or approach things more cautiously.
Columbo loves to snuggle and his ideal home would be with lower energy folks or perhaps an older family who enjoys spending some lazy time on the couch. He is skittish on walks alone but is GREAT when we walk him with our Westie. A home with another dog would likely be best for him.
