Adopt a Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)
Sierra the Cat needs a home
DOB: 10/30/12
Please don't take this grumpy face personally. Sierra is anything but grumpy, she just looks like this! And its actually really adorable! According to her foster mom, she is a sweet, quiet, and cuddly petite girl. When Sierra came to GRASP from Animal Control, she was in need of some serious grooming. She is still growing her fur back and at some point will most likely have a beautiful, long, brown tabby coat again.
Sierra enjoys the warmth of snuggling under the covers with her foster family. She did not seem intimidated by the other resident cats in the house (that weren't very welcoming) and really ignored them. At this point we are unsure how she would do with a friendly resident cat, but with proper introductions she may be fine.
Given the condition of her fur, Sierra was fending on her own for quite awhile. Due to this, we believe she gets very excited by large amounts of food and can overindulge. If she's fed small amounts throughout the day she's much happier (and so is her foster family).
Her foster mom would love to see her go to a quiet, adult home with family that is there to spoil her often.
Apply to adopt this unique kitty now, she truly deserves the pampered life!
This cat has been combo-tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, received all age-appropriate vaccinations and is altered.
