MAXIMUS (aka MAX) ACR14534 is a male,reddish brown,
Mastiff mix, weighing in at about 80 lbs, and is 1-2years old.
This friendly, energetic dog likes snacks and petting.
MAXIMUS is good on a leash, with the proper equipment. He is very respectful.
He knows "sit" and waits for you to give him the OK for him to eat his food. He picked that up real quick. Smart boy that loves to please his master. Works ok with both male and female but seems to enjoy being with Male humans better.
He is a playful boy; loves water and tug-o-war.
He's a big dog. Max is NOT a dog for a home with young children.
Max does not like it when people crouch(bend over him) while he is in a crate.
Max is learning very nicely on how to become a good citizen on and off leash. He is friendly with other dogs(on leash) I have not tried off leash yet. Due to my dog not liking exuberant dogs.
We found that Max is very much a protector. We stopped at a store and I went in while my husband walked Max to the other side of the parking lot. A lady came out and went to the wrong car(she tried to enter our car) Max barked and alerted her that she is messing with "HIS" car. No lunging or aggressive posture. Just a stern bark of Hey Lady what do you think your doing.
