Emma the Dog needs a home
Emma is a smaller size female dog, around 35 lbs, and about 4 years old. She prefers to be around women rather than men, so I can imagine that she may have been mistreated at one time by a man. The result is that she is rather shy and reserved, but once she gets to know you and feels comfortable she comes out of her shell. Emma would do well with a single female with no other animals, where she would get all the attention. She would be a wonderful companion to someone who is patient, kind and loving. Just as some people get a bad start in life and need extra help to get on the right track, Emma did as well, and similarly needs someone extra kind and caring to help her along. In return, she will give the utmost love and attention possible. For someone who is not necessarily looking for the perfect dog, (who among us is perfect?), Emma will deliver a perfectly wonderful relationship given the chance.
